She's recently been in Rome filming upcoming movie Hope Lost.

But Mischa Barton took some time out in New York City on Friday - where she is shooting another film, The Hoarder.

The 28-year-old actress was seen out and about in Tribeca dressed down in a pair of tight-fitting jeans which showed off her healthy figure as well as a black jumper.

Mischa was clearly well prepared for her stroll as she clutched hold of a beverage while walking down the road.

Later in the evening the blonde beauty was seen shooting a night scene for her upcoming movie The Hoarder.

Mischa was spotted filming the motion picture alongside The Inbetweeners star Emily Atack on Soho Street in New York City.

Her latest piece of filming comes after Mischa was in Rome for a photo call for another upcoming movie, Hope Lost.

But the forthcoming film wasn't the only thing on Mischa's mind while she was in the Italian capital as she was spotted kissing Italian actor Alan Cappelli Goetz.

Mischa - who split from ex-boyfriend Sebastian Knapp last year – and the Italian actor sparked relationship rumours after the pair were spotted kissing outside the hotel Hassler in the city.

What's more, they also appeared to have been enjoying some quality time together recently as they have both taken to their Twitter accounts to post pictures of each other.

Mischa posted an image of her and Alan at the Spanish Steps in Rome on Sunday and admitted she was thoroughly enjoying herself in the Italian city.

In a message accompanying the image, she wrote: 'I still can't get enough of Rome ! Spanish steps yesterday w Alan (sic)'

Amazing- 2 hours ago, this article detailed Mischa as having a 'fuller' figure, and looking 'curvier'. After some pointed comments about how she actually looks pretty normal, this has now been retitled as 'Mischa looks a picture of health'. Make your mind up DM, or better still, stop writing articles about women's weight!

It annoys me so much that, typically, you have bowed to pressure and changed the headline from 'heavier' to 'healthier'. Since when has being overweight been healthier? Just because the vast majority of Brits are now clinically obese does not mean that it is either healthy, or ok.

Such a bitchy headline DM, there is just no need. And attempting to hide the underlying nastiness by saying that she is "embracing" her fuller figure is pathetic. We all know that you are saying that she is fat and as for that photo of her rear end - how low can you get? DM's obsession with women's weight - and the accompanying 10 daily articles that dissect in detail every aspect of a woman's weight - is getting too much, not to mention downright invasive and creepy. Give it up DM and leave women and their bodies alone.

So, DM, you have changed the headline to say 'healthier figure' to accommodate the masses. There is nothing healthy in being overweight, which she is. Admittedly, she is a beautiful woman ... and one who struggles with her weight. But let's not kid ourselves that overweight is 'healthier' or 'normal', please.
