A tight squeeze! Kate Upton nearly pops a button as her shirt struggles to contain her ample assets during GMA appearance

She arrived at the Good Morning America studios, suitably business-like in a long sleeved taupe shirt, skinny black jeans and matching blazer.

But curvy Kate Upton still managed to nearly pop out of her straining shirt during her TV appearance on Friday.

The 21-year-old model's conservative number gaped open to reveal a flash of her white bra as she joined make-up guru Bobbi Brown on the show to announce she is the new face of the cosmetics brand.

She is only the second celebrity to team up with Brown after Katie Holmes.

Kate told host Robin Roberts that she was 'excited' to collaborate with the make-up artist after seeing her Pretty Powerful campaign, which encourages real women to 'be who they are.'

'It's all about confidence,' she said. 'It's about natural beauty. To enhance it and help you feel better about yourself.'

Brown described working with Upton as 'a dream.' She said:  '[Kate's] not just a woman that’s beautiful, because we all know that, but she is smart, she is nice and she creates her own rules. And I love a woman like that.'

And she seemed equally as thrilled with the announcement, later tweeting a picture of herself from the campaign alongside the caption: 'So happy to finally announce I am the new face of @bobbibrown !! Honored to work with @justbobbibrown.'

The duo also answered questions on beauty tips, with Kate revealing she is currently keeping herself in trim by cycling.

'Lately I've just been biking everywhere and it's been so much fun,' she said.

Friday's news is the latest triumph in what has been a huge year in Kate's career.

Since scoring covers with British, Italian and US Vogue and becoming a firm favourite in the fashion world, she is now branching out in to movies.

The 5ft 10 bombshell is set to appear in upcoming comedy The Other Woman, in which she stars alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann.

She's gorgeous but in pictures 1, 6, 13 you can definitely see the muffin top over those too-tight jeans/jeggings. Why don't people just go up a size? In the end, it makes people look so much smaller when clothing actually fits. I've never seen an unflattering picture of her before. Sack this stylist.

ChicagoLoop: If anyone hates women, particularly young women, it's you. Don't think for a second that your spite-filled jealous rants are not comically transparent. Now please tell us more about your "botox and face fillers" like in the other thread. I'm sure men found you more attractive than Kate when you were the same age 4 decades ago:)

She is famous strictly for her looks, no other 'talent' so that is what she is judged by. Fact is she is not beautiful, she is not gorgeous, she is marginally attractive. She has an awful smile with the gums showing, she is very chubby in the face. I am not hating, I speak the truth as she is putting herself out there based upon her physical attributes and nothing else. I see nothing here that is worthy of her being in the media.

That's a strange comment LetsbeReal. Why wouldn't there be camis being made in 2014? Kate doesn't need to wear one but Mmoomm is right. Every smart woman knows this is an OPTION and they are certainly to be found EVERYWHERE and in every price range.

Kate Upton is totally hot and attractive, and yet funny and approachable, like the girl next door. Men really love that. Women are envious of her and her looks and secretly want that for themselves. That`s what sells products.
