Promoting new movie The Other Woman, Cameron Diaz declares 'everyone has been cheated on' and she's got the scars to prove it

Currently promoting the new comedy movie The Other Woman, Cameron Diaz has declared that everyone will be touched by infidelity at some time in their lives.

'Everybody has been cheated on,' she told OK! magazine while discussing the subject matter of her new movie.

'Everyone will be cheated on. II can't fix that, I don't know how,' she remarked before adding, 'I don't have any judgment on anybody, I don't know how to fix the problem.'

The 41-year-old movie star, who herself has been in a string of high profile relationships over the years declared that the reason for our behaviour is that 'we are human beings, we are complicated.'

As if to prove her point Cameron pointed out that it it was not possible to 'go through life without tallying up a few scars, you cannot go through life unscathed, it's just what it is. It's all meant to happen, take your lessons, figure it out, move on.'

Cameron was at pains to add that her statement was not because she was interested in making movies about men cheating in women, but she liked the story of female empowerment and friendship.

This is also despite the fact The Other Woman is the story of three women (Cameron, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton) who team up together to get revenge on a philandering cad, played by handsome Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who Cameron was pictured enthusiastically kissing on set of the movie in New York.

Among Cameron's own battle scars, or long-term relationships are actors Matt Dillon, Vincent D'Onofrio and Oscar-winner Jared Leto.

For four years until 1994 she lived with video producer Carlos de la Torre before she started dating Vincent during the making of the movie Feeling Minnesota.

A year later she took up with Matt, a relationship which lasted two years, then she began dating Jared in 1999 with the couple getting engaged a year later.

In 2003 they called it quits, the same year that Cameron began her next four year relationship with Justin Timberlake which ended in 2006.

Jared Leto is another of Cameron's former partners - they were even engaged at one stage

Now happily single, Cameron's most recent romantic dalliance was a year-long relationship with baseball player Alex Rodriguez.

She told the magazine that she now exists for all of her girlfriends. among whom Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow number.

'I am very, very, very fortunate,' she exclaimed adding, 'my friends are incredible and I am very lucky to have a lot of really solid, good friends.'

The Other Woman opens in the UK on April 23.

pity she didn't she this view point with her pussified boyfriend justin timberlake then he may have not wrecked britneys reputation by vengefully talking thrash about her at any given opportunity. He is due a big dose of what goes a round comes around in the future because his thrash talking about britney it started the beginning of the medias stalking of britney and the obsession with trying to bring her down and accusing her of everything under the sun besides the assassination of JFK. From then on it was oh my god that britney shameless. And the girl could not go nowhere by herself or with her kids. and on another note cameron is starting to get on my nerves she is turning into another gwenth paltow,it is kind of narcissist of her to think the generarl public want her to advise them and listen to her different opinions. what she is saying about aging gracefully is nothing new to the general population cos most people would not be able to afford all these beauty procedure.
