Kim Kardashian got in some practice donning head to toe white ahead of her upcoming wedding to Kanye West as she attended singer Ciara's white-themed baby shower on Saturday.

Arriving at a private Beverly Hills residence for the festivities, the star made the most of the beautiful spring weather, dressing in a flowy maxi-skirt featuring daring thigh-high slit and matching crop top that only exposed the bare minimum of her toned tummy appropriate for such an occasion.

The Vogue cover girl was accompanied to the bash by momager Kris Jenner, who also stuck to the neutral palate in a crisp trouser suit, while she diligently did all the heavy lifting - carrying a towering basket overflowing with gifts into the house.

The 33-year-old accentuated and elongated her toned and tanned pins in a pair of nude-coloured strappy Tom Ford stilettos.

Her long dark tresses were worn down in soft, tousled waves, while she was made up to the hilt, with plenty of bronzer and dark smoky eyes played up against nude lips.

While her fiancé and nine-month-old daughter may not have been with her, she kept them close by wearing her gold 'Nori' nameplate necklace and, of course, her dazzling 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring.

Kris looked sharp in her fitted suit featuring flared pants, which she paired with a matching shirt, pointy stilettos and small quilted Chanel handbag.

She wore her cropped glossy tresses in a sideswept style across her perfectly made-up face, while she donned large aviators for the sunny conditions.

The 58-year-old had her hands full juggling the impressive joint gift, which looked to contain everything the new parents could ever want or need all wrapped up in a 3 Sprouts storage bin featuring a cute fabric raccoon on the front and held together with sheer organza, while she was followed closely behind by a security guard carrying a matching elephant basket.

First-time mom-to-be Ciara looked simply stunning as she arrived at her bash a short time later.

Adding a pop of colour to the mix, she dressed up her burgeoning bump in a floor-length white kaftan featuring a striking Moroccan-inspired deep scarlet print down the centre and matching trim around the edge.

The 28-year-old, who is reportedly having a baby boy with rapper fiancé Future - real name Nayvadius Cash - completed her outfit with strappy nude and gold flat sandals, several silver and gold bangles and a simple gold necklace.

She wore her blonde locks pulled back from her face at the crown in a half-up, half-down style, while her make-up was golden and natural.

While the couple, who got engaged on October 28 before confirming their pregnancy on January 14 after months of speculation, have yet to comment on the baby's gender, though the proud daddy-to-be appears to have given the game away.

In a recent interview, the 30-year-old seemingly let slip that they're having a boy after repeating referring to the bub as 'him'

'The baby is already listening to music now,' the rapper began. '[Ciara] sent me a video while I was over here with the headphones on her stomach.

'She said, "The baby just listened to Turn On The Lights, the version with me and you!"

'I said, "You gotta play that Anytime for him, the new one you did. Let him hear that. See how he kick."'

The news certainly appears to have been confirmed by Kris and Kim's gift, which contained a small blue car toy and what appeared to be a black and white pirate's hat, among other things.

While just a day earlier she was on cloud nine after finally landing her much-sought-after US Vogue cover, Kim didn't appear to be in the best of spirits as she arrived at the shindig.

And who can blame her, with the Twittersphere going into a frenzy upon hearing the news, with people spouting mostly nasty comments.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar slammed the publication for putting the reality TV star and her fiancé on the April cover of the prestigious fashion bible, urging others to boycott it with her.

The 36-year-old actress blasted editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's controversial decision, writing: 'Well......I guess I'm canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???'

A little appalled by some of the comments on here, but then when again have people been nice behind a computer screen. Not a fan of her celebrity but it is hard to deny that she looks decent for a change - covered up and in an outfit that doesn't look like she is trying too hard. Good Job.

She's not a Vogue cover girl, she's a Vogue cover mistake by a woman at the end of her editorial career, well for any magazine with reading anyway. It's amazing however how the Daily Mail ignores it's readers. I'm sure over the last two years whenever I check the comments on a Dashian clan story they are in the main very negative and request the DM to stop writing about them, but it carries on and indeed has got worse over the years, each day now we get 5 or 6 articles and hundreds of photos, usually all of the same thing just a slightly different angle.

Ah does anybody remember the good old days when actual celeberties with talent use get all the notoriety? Seems like a distant memory now. Keep wondering and praying when this bubble butt and her good for nothing family will disappear in obscurity.
