Man with the last perfect NCAA bracket finally picks the wrong team, and he FORGET to enter the Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge

By Daily Mail Reporter

The last man standing the quest for a perfect 2014 NCAA bracket has fallen after correctly predicting 36 men's tournament picks.

But even if he had made it past Saturday night's Syracuse-Dayton game after incorrectly predicting Syracuse, Brad Binder forgot to enter the Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge.

'And that's the closest I've ever come to not winning a billion dollars,' he tweeted Saturday.

There were no perfect brackets left in ESPN's bracket challenge or the Yahoo Sports run Billion Dollar Bracket.

According to CBS Sports, in the last two years the final remaining perfect brackets were out in the tournament's 22nd and 23rd games.

According to CNN, Binder entered his Bracket to Yahoo and finished picks in under five minutes.

However he neglected to enter the Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge, in which Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway hs provided an insurance policy to Quicken and co-sponsor Yahoo to cover the potentially massive payout.

He told ESPN he did it all so quickly because he was in a rush to leave for work.

'Never in a million years' did he believe this would happen.

'I was about to leave for work, and I was in a rush,' he said. 'I filled it out, and that was kind of it. I didn't even really think about it. However, if I can reach out to Mr. Buffet, if he would consider grandfathering me in to be eligible and if he can make an exception, that would mean a lot to me and give everyone, I guess, a perfect bracket to root for.'

Odds on winning the billion dollar prize were estimated at 9.2 quintillion-to-1 in some estimates.

ESPN noted that of the approximately 30 million entries over the last 13 years on its bracket, only one person has had a perfect first round in the last seven years and no one has come close to the prize.
