Aguero back in training for City as star striker targets Emirates return from hamstring injury

By Graeme Yorke

Sergio Aguero was back in training for Manchester City on Thursday as he looks to speed up his recovery from his latest hamstring injury.

The Argentinian was injured in the defeat by Barcelona last week and will miss this weekend's visit of Fulham as well as the Manchester derby at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

He is aiming to be back in the squad for the trip to Arsenal on Sunday week though and the sight of him doing fitness work at City's Carrington training ground will have their fans in good spirits

Aguero, 25, has scored 15 goals in just 17 games this season but has missed 10 matches with three separate injuries.

Meanwhile, Felix Magath says his former Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko is welcome to join him at Fulham should he become frustrated with life at City.

The pair enjoyed a good relationship during their time in the Bundesliga after Magath brought him to Germany in 2007.

Dzeko went on to score 85 times for Wolfsburg before City paid £27million for his services in January 2011 and the German boss said: 'Edin has a different situation here (than in Germany).

'He is not the only striker at Manchester City and there are a lot of very good players.

'Perhaps he should come to Fulham and he could score a lot more goals than he does at City.'

Injury prone. These injuries will catch up with him if they haven't already done.
