Back to Hollywood life: Margot Robbie mingles with the fashion set after wrapping up filming in New Zealand... but she's still brunette

By Daily Mail Reporter

She wrapped up filming on Z For Zachariah in New Zealand last week and Margot Robbie was quick to jet back to Hollywood to mingle with the fashion set soon after.

The Wolf Of Wall Street star posed alongside Carmella designer Katheryn Rice and stylist Cristina Ehrlich at the Carmella Dinner at Petit Ermitage Hotel on Thursday night.

Robbie, 23, slipped right into the fashion crowd at the West Hollywood venue in a pastel yellow off-the-shoulder jumpsuit.

Among the guest list were fellow actresses Molly Sims and Jessica Pare, who both wore black dresses but Molly kept her shoulders warm in a cropped cream blazer.

Margot found fame as a platinum blonde Australian beauty but since dying her hair dark brown for her latest film project, she's embraced a more sultry look.

Despite finishing filming on Z For Zachariah, she has kept her brunette locks and pulled them back for her night out on Thursday.

While Down Under, the actress had sparked up a romance with a local New Zealander, Henry Aitken, but ended the relationship when filming wrapped.

New Zealand news website Stuff claimed that Robbie had been 'swept off her feet' by Aitken during filming.

The handsome brunette - who was said to be working in the art department of the film - works in the film industry locally.

He studied at the New Zealand Film and Television School, and his Facebook page says he is the art director for multimedia production company Sakowski Studios.

The pair were said to have formed a bond on set of the new movie - which stars Margot as a sixteen-year-old girl named Ann Burden who survives a nuclear war in a small American town.

Last month, a friend of Aitken's, who did not wish to be named, told The Press that the pair had  been seeing each other for a month.

But Aitken didn't manage to tie down the rising star and Margot will be busy filming alongside Alexander Skarsgard and Samuel L. Jackson in the upcoming film Tarzan in the coming months.

I think the brunette looks good in the photo on the bottom right where she has the dark lipstick on, but otherwise I think blonde suits her skin tone better. She's very pretty regardless though. I remember when she was on Neighbours!

I always thought if your truly beautiful you can have your hair any way or colour but she looks so drab with it dark! It's not even a nice colour. Go back blonde!!!

Blonde looks best on her.

She's probably traumatised from doing a full frontal nude scene in Wolf of Wall Street (needn't be), hence trying to create a distance from her from that period to her now. Having said that, what a great film that was, another home run by Scorsese and Leo was fantastic as were Margo and Jonah.

She's way hotter blonde. Still pretty but blonde suits her way better.

She is very beautiful as a blonde, but the dark hair changes her so much, I didn't realise it was her at first. She loses the wow factor as a brunette. Go back to blonde immediately! :)

She would look good with any color hair because she is beautiful. I wonder how she would look as a redhead??

Absolutely gorgeous. But, on this rare occasion, she looks better blonde!
