commented on Australian superstar to sing at Eurovision

I love this woman! Extremely talented with great songs!
And a great actress to. She starred in a film recently, forgot the name though:(.
It was really good though!

I am sure she will be excellent!

That's a lie and you know it. Actually there was very little, in fact none promotion about Emelie at all. There was only one article about her.
There were however tons of promotion about Farid from Azerbaijan, Gianluca from Malta and ByeAlex from Hungary. From where they were traveling next to their plans for the contest as well as for their future after the contest
If you're going to claim something at least make sure it's accurate.

This is similar to when people accused Loreen of being heavily promoted on the site when she in fact got the least amount of attention on the site.
Probably started by people who can't accept defeat and that somebody else won.

You do know it's only the Interval Act, right guys?
Still, a big deal.

As someone who loves Australia can't wait to see what it will be!

The song is just to intense and repetitive and it goes nowhere. And that dub step part doesn't fit the song at all. I think the juries won't appreciate it as much and that might hurt it. I think they will prevent it from being a top contender
As much as Yerevan sounds exciting, I would rather wait for a better song from Armenia to win.
Remember France or Hungary 2011. Everybody thought either of these would win. Both ended up very low at the scoreboard. Similar might happen to him.

Also, why has none of the other countries these much promotion on the site? Every year there is always the artists from Armenia and/or Azerbaijan that gets written about. From what they are going to wear to where they are travelling next.
Do they pay extra to get featured or what?:)

Other representatives from other countries also does a lot of interesting stuff. Why not write about them?

Anyway, everybody calm down! They won't compete, they will just be arranging the Interval Act. Don't think they will compete, otherwise The European aspect would be gone.
Though as someone who loves Australia and has a burning desire to visit it someday, I think it's a great idea to!
Time to show the rest of Europe what us Australophiles? already know: Australia is great.
Don't know what they will do exactly, but can't wait!

Though I am still not convinced this is a genuine article:)

As for the starting order, it seems O.K Tough people are quick to assume things about the running order
Just because an entry starts early doesn't mean it won't qualify, and just because an entry starts among the last doesn't mean it will automatically qualify.
As always it all depends on the song and the performance. If you have a good song and strong performance that is enough to take you all the way. No matter the starting position. Take Denmark as an example. Last year they started as number 5. Yet they managed not only to qualify but to win as well.

Bookies vs Fan voting!

First of, thanks for your texts. Interesting as always, Eugene! We may have had our differences but this year we seem to understand each other:) As to my response, I think you might find this interesting.

commented on Eurovision 2014 stage to be 'big'

Bigger is not always better, you know. Last time Denmark tried big it failed. Or in Baku where it just felt vast and huge. Most of the performers there felt really lost, I thought.
I think quality is more important than quantity.

They are literally to old to be retro. Doesn't none of these countries listen to contemporary music?

Like San Marion this sounds as rejected Bond-theme from the 70's, even more so than "Maybe".
Her voice is amazing and the song is good, but I no my cup of tea.
It might qualify though. A lot of ESC-fans appreciate this old dramatic style of belting out ballads.
For me it's nor really that impressive. As much as I like old-fashioned this was just to unimpressive.

Good song, but for next year I want something that represents Austria and how it sounds like 2015. Not another song that could have represented them 40 yeas ago.
