At least he's had a shave! Shia 'I am not famous anymore' LaBeouf commits cardinal Hollywood sin as he wears the exact same outfit twice in two days

By Juliet Paylor

He may not be famous anymore, according to his Twitter ramblings, but with a string of successful movies under his belt and plenty of money still in the bank, there's no need for Shia LaBeouf to resort to wearing the same outfit twice - or more.

While last year it was reported that the method actor was dressing in character as he prepared to film World War II film Fury, the movie has long since wrapped and yet the star has remained in his rather odd apparel.

Three times this week alone he was spotted out and about in LA clad in his favourite hideous dark brown pants tucked into long socks and sand-coloured lace-up combat boots, a dirty off-white cap atop his head.

He must wheely like that outfit! Shia LaBeouf headed out to his local Gelson's supermarket with girlfriend Mia Goth (not pictured) on Saturday, sporting a freshly-shaved face but the exact same clothes he was spotted in two days earlier

On Monday, he teamed the outfit with an off-white Uncle Sherman Fan Club tee as he picked up a hot beverage at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Studio City.

Thursday, he slipped on a rather fitting navy blue T-shirt featuring the iconic face of guerrilla leader Che Guevara as he grabbed a healthy lunch at Tender Greens in Hollywood.

Come Saturday, the only change was that he had shaved off his scruffy facial hair as he hit Gelson's supermarket with girlfriend Mia Goth to stock up on supplies.

The 27-year-old currently has some time on his hands, following the release of the controversial Lars Von Trier-directed Nymphomaniac, in which he co-starred with his 19-year-old love.

Time for a change! The 27-year-old has a penchant for wearing his favourite hideous dark brown pants, tucked into long socks and sand-coloured lace-up combat boots, teamed with a dirty off-white cap, regularly spotted out and about in LA in the unflattering get-up

Hopefully he at least showered! Two days earlier, the star - who is as well known for his odd behaviour as his acting of late - was pictured in the exact same outfit, though he was still sporting his scruffy facial hair as he picked up lunch at Tender Greens in Hollywood

Fury, which also stars Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman and Xavier Samuel, is currently in post-production, set for release on November 14.

Next up, he will join Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Bill Murray and Zooey Deschanel for a much more light-hearted role in comedy Rock The Kasbah.

It's probably a good thing the actor is taking a bit of time out of the spotlight, following his recent bizarre behaviour - which saw him hit the red carpet at February's Berlin Film Festival with a brown paper bag over his head scrawled with the words: 'I am not famous anymore.'

While many people were quick to write off his actions as crazy and attention-seeking, his Nymphomaniac co-stars were quick to leap to his defence.

Enough is enough! Last Monday, he was at least clad in a different off-white Uncle Sherman Fan Club T-shirt as he picked up a hot beverage at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Studio City

During an interview with CBS News, Uma Thurman said: 'Oh, he's just going through something. He's an incredibly sweet and sensitive soul and I think a natural-born artist.'

Christian Slater echoed that same sentiment: 'He's committed, he's passionate, he gave a phenomenal performance in this movie. I love the guy.'

Also jumping on the bandwagon was Stellan Skarsgard, who gave his full support to the star.

'Whatever his reasons for carrying bags over his head or whatever... I'll support it,' he said. 'I think you can wear what kind of hat you want.'

'He's just going through something': The Nymphoniac star attended the Berlin Film Festival last month with a brown paper bag over his head scrawled with the words, 'I am not famous anymore', though his co-stars jumped to his defence, calling him 'passionate', 'committed' and a 'natural-born artist'

Nothing says "I'm a fan of vicious, psychopathic mass murderers and racists" quite like a Che Guevara T-shirt.

I thought the cardinal sin in Hollywood was to wear the same outfit twice in one lifetime.

OH NO! He "resorted" to wearing the same outfit more than once!?! Talk about making a story out of nothing.

And because he 'still has money in the bank' means he can't wear the same outfit twice in one week? And the public wonder why they don't think they are good enough.
