Our team was selected as one of three at the University of Michigan to receive $10k prize and the opportunity to present our technology to a larger audience in Berkeley, CA this fall. The other two winners were Smart Energy, and Impact Everyday. Read more about the competition by clicking here.
Friday was a huge day or our team! In addition to being awarded the Dare to Dream Integration Grant, ReGenerate finished 2nd overall in the Michigan Business Challenge (MBC) and won the Erb Award for Sustainability. The Zell-Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial studies has awarded our team a$10k Dare to Dream Integration Grant. According to the ZLI website, the purpose of the grant is as follows: “The Integration Grant pushes the team to create a business plan and investor pitch with the ultimate goal of actually launching the business”.
Our team was featured on the Big10 Network’s “University Showcase: Michigan”, which did a segment on how innovation and entrepreneurship are crucial for Michigan’s economic development. In particular, the producers focused on the Accelerate Michigan Innovation Challenge that was hosted here in Ann Arbor last month. It’s a great story, click here to watch it!
A new season of business plan competitions is upon us, and ReGenerate is off to a great start! On Friday, December 10th, we claimed the Grand Prize in the Accelerate Michigan student business plan competition. This is the most competitive event in which we have participated so far.
