Overprotected? Britney Spears is eclipsed by bodyguard as she holidays in Hawaii with beau David Lucado and sons
She once performed a song which bemoaned the fact she was overprotected.
But life imitated art for chart-topping superstar Britney Spears on Friday when she holidayed in Hawaii with an over-zealous bodyguard.
The brunette beauty was eclipsed by her strapping security guard as she dined with boyfriend David Lucado and sons Sean Preston, eight, and Jayden James, seven.

Wearing indigo jeans and a flannel shirt, the strapping man stood between the pop star and awaiting fans, who were keen to get a photograph of their idol.
Towering above the seated star, he cut am imposing figure as the family dined in their holiday destination.
MailOnline was first to reveal her idyllic Hawaiian getaway with her family earlier this week.

As part of her break, the mother-of-two posted a shot of herself posing in a cute blue bikini , proudly showing off her figure.
It seems that her seemingly endless run of Vegas tour dates have been paid off, as Britney showed her toned abs and thighs. In another fun shot, Britney, , made funny faces as they posed by the beach.
Earlier this month, Britney took time out of her Vegas touring to join sick children for art therapy.

The Piece of Me hitmaker - whose two sons she conceived with ex-husband Kevin Federline - took part in a collage-making exercise with youngsters at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and told the group she believes butterflies are her 'guardian angels'.
Working to the theme 'What it feels like to be away from home', the group sorted through magazines to and selected images that reminded them of home under the guidance of Art Therapist Nicole Albers.
Britney chose a photo of happy children to represent her boys, an image of a crawfish, which she said was her favourite food, and a butterfly.

She said: 'Butterflies are our guardian angels.'
The group decided to name their collective work 'Happiness' because when they think of family, that is how they feel.
After the therapy group, Britney spent time in the Heart Institute, the Medical/Surgical unit and the Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases.
She later tweeted: '@ChildrensLA I had the best time, thank you for having me!! xox.'
