She is a model that has appeared in campaigns for Gilette, Olay, Nike, and recently on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

But before the stardom, Chrissy Teigen spent a few days of her childhood with chickenpox just like most other children.

The 28-year-old star shared a throwback snap on Thursday of herself covered in pockmarks.

What a transformation! Chrissy - pictured at the Vanity Fair Oscar party on March 2 - has since been in campaigns for Nike, Olay, and recently was featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Chrissy referenced a Jennifer Lopez tune as she captioned the photo: 'Don't be fooled by the pox that I got.'

In the image, a much younger Crissy had her eyes half closed as she peered into the camera with the itchy rashes all over her face.

She also donned a white T-Shirt with the phrase 'It's not easy being cute' printed on it.

The Sports Illustrated cover girl was not done sharing pictures from her childhood as she posted another three flashback shots.

Newlyweds: Chrissy married singer John Legend, 36, in Italy after seven years of dating

In one of the other images, the young Chrissy beamed as she was seated in the lap of her mother.

The half-Norwegian, half-Thai model wore a matching shiny blue top and bottom combination and red flip flops in the picture.

The brunette bombshell captioned the shot: 'Great grandma's house in Thailand. Floors are overrated, i agree grammy grams.'

Chrissy also posted an adorable snap of herself in a red long sleeve T-shirt and darker red patterned bottoms while holding onto flowers.

She recently married singer John Legend in a romantic Italian wedding in September after dating for seven years.

Chrissy and John, 36, met on the set of a music video in 2006 and he revealed it was a great way to get to know each other.

'The shoot was pretty up close and personal, and I got to know her big personality – she's very fun, very clever, very gregarious,' John said.

'It's not the normal way to court someone, but hey, it worked.'

Chrissy takes a tumble: The model also posted an old shot of herself in the midst of falling while another child stood over her and watched, which she captioned: 'Damn this chick was a B. Thanks for the help NOT'

Buying in bulk: The Sports Illustrated cover girl appeared to be quite overwhelmed as she was pictured inside of a warehouse retailer next to several levels of shelves with the caption: 'Help'
