She's been busy promoting her new album, and Kylie Minogue is sure to have a few new fans after her stellar performance at the Echo Music Awards in Berlin.

The Australian pop star shimmied on stage in a disco ball-inspired mini dress and matching silver stilettos as she belted out hits from Kiss Me Once.

The Echo Music Awards are Germany's equivalent of the Grammy's and 45-year-old Minogue treated audiences to her show as Depeche Mode, Eminem and Robbie Williams picked up awards on the night.

When Kylie wasn't performing on Thursday night, she strutted around the ceremony in a striking leather mini-dress with peplum embellishments.

She wore lashings of red lipstick as her trademark blonde hair fell loose across her shoulders.

Despite international efforts to promote her latest album Kiss Me Once, reviews haven't been so complimentary.

It's Kylie's first album since her 2010 release, Aphrodite, and she has been criticized for her overtly sexual music videos for tracks Sexcercize.

Critics argued that she was trying to distract from the mediocre music with sexually explicit images, but the LP still managed to climb to number two on the UK album chart after its March 14 release.

Shakira was also on the Berlin stage and performed in fishnet tights and a sequined black bodysuit.

But it was Katy Perry who was amongst the frontrunners in the Best International Female category thanks to her latest album Prism.

Established in 1992, the Echo Awards sees the German music industry honour a range of local and international talent.
