Size does matter! Andrew Garfield reveals girlfriend Emma Stone 'approved' of how
his 'package' looked in Spider-Man suit during probing interview

By Juliet Paylor

Andrew Garfield has revealed that girlfriend Emma Stone gave her seal of approval when it came
to just how his package was presented in his Spider-Man costume.

Appearing via satellite on Australia's The Project last week to promote the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the actor was a little taken aback when host Waleed Aly got straight down to the nitty gritty: asking just how he ensured his manhood 'looked appropriate' in the rather revealing suit.

'It takes a lot of consideration, because you don't want it to be overwhelming and also you don't want it to be underwhelming,' he replied, adding: 'You don't want it to intimidate and you don't want it to... the opposite of intimidate. So yes, there is thought, but ultimately you have to trust that what you have is enough.'

Both he and Emma laughed wholeheartedly when the cheeky interviewer asked if Andrew ran the suit past a 'focus group', joking that the question was 'Classic Waleed'.

As if on cue, the stunning redhead responded: 'Because with great power comes great responsibility' - quoting a line from Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man movies.

'I had one focus group and that focus group was Emma. She approved,' Andrew added, to which his lady love simply laughed.

Meanwhile, proving that great power does indeed come with great responsibility, the 30-year-old actor did his bit to promote Earth Day on Friday after Spider-Man was named the first official ambassador for the global initiative.

The star paid a visit to the Commonwealth Secondary School in Singapore, along with co-star Jamie Foxx, who plays nemesis Electro in the movie, as guests of the World Wide Fund For Nature.

No holding back: Host Waleed Aly's questions may have been a little on the embarrassing side, but let's face it - it was something everyone had been wanting to know the answer to

In keeping with his appointment, signs around the environmentally-progressive school read: 'Be A Superhero For The Planet.'

During their visit, the pair chatted with students and posed for photos, as well as planted trees, which were marked with plaques that read: 'The gift of life'.

'One of the conversations we need to have as a global community is about protecting our home, which is the Earth,' an impassioned Garfield said during the press conference following the event. 'We are all sharing this planet. It’s up to us to take care of it. It’s our responsibility.'

His 46-year-old co-star added: 'To have this young man who’s playing the character Spider-Man,
for him to be able to say about taking care about the planet, it speaks volumes. And people look
to him, so when they see him speaking about conservation it goes a long way - those kids will grow up and they will do in turn what they were inspired by, and hopefully that will sustain for years after we’re gone.'

The stars were presented with hats and little stuffed pandas - WWF's mascot - by the thrilled students, which they proudly posed with.

Andrew and Jamie will be joined by Emma and director Marc Webb at 8.30pm on Saturday night
as they lead Singapore's Official Lights Out ceremony as part of the world's largest Earth Hour celebration.

They are such a cute couple and really seem to connect in a down to earth, normal way.

I'm not going to lie and please don't hate on my comment whoever is reading this, its just my opinion, i'm shocked they made a part two of this version of Spider-Man , I miss , I really miss Toby McGuire and Kirsten Dunst , sigh why did they have to let those two go.

Yes I don't even like Toby McGuire and Kirsten Dunst -- their acting usually annoys me, but I liked that franchise so much more. This reboot was rushed and awful, with a boring villain.

I love Jamie's t-shirt. Earth day, where everything is about preserving our earth and life, then this bloke walks round with a skull on his shirt. Something associated with death. How clever...

He was brilliant on TV in Boy A and Red Riding so I am glad he's making a good career for himself in movies.
