By Daily Mail Reporter

She narrowly escaped death when her crashed at the Melbourne Grand Prix Celebrity Challenge earlier this month, but Rachael Finch was back behind the wheel today.

The 25-year-old model posted a selfie on her Instagram account as she sat in the luxury Lexus and wrote: 'Having sleep-overs and test drives. Exciting weekend ahead!'

‘I remember thinking "just relax and breathe,"' she wrote on her blog about the moment her car turned upside down after fellow celebrity driver Clint Stanaway had lost control behind her.

Rachael said that the three minutes she hung upside down in the mangled car felt like a lifetime.

She attributed relaxation techniques from yoga to getting her through the traumatic experience, saying ‘I swear Yoga helped me a lot!’

The former Miss Universe Australia, who bounced back into incredible shape within five months of giving birth, has been a long time advocate of yoga.

Rachael also says her biggest concern as she waited for assistance in her race car, was her husband Michael Miziner, who had witnessed the crash from the sidelines with their baby daughter Violet in his arms.

‘All I wanted was for someone to get a message to my husband Misha to let him know I was OK! There were about 80,000 people on ground surely someone saw me,’ she continued.

After being rescued by a medical team, Rachael emerged from the car unscathed, smiling and waving to the crowd.

The star shortly took to Twitter after the accident, writing, ‘Certainly didn't think when I got up this morning I'd be rolling my car hours later! That's racing as they say. Back of grid tomorrow grr!

In high spirits after the sudden crash, Rachael returned to the track the next day to continue the celebrity challenge.

And despite the Grand Prix now being over, it looks like Rachael’s daring experiences have made her a bigger fan of race car driving than ever before.

‘Talk about a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So getting a roll cage in my Nissan Murano for trips to the grocery store now,’ she joked as she ended her candid blog post.
