Catherine Zeta-Jones sure knows how to walk in heels.

The 44-year-old actress seemed to be in a massive hurry as she rushed to La Guardia Airport in New York City on Friday, along with her daughter Carys and husband Michael Douglas.

The Chicago star showed no signs of slowing down as she tottered in three-inch peep-toe pumps.

She looked very elegant in a black pea coat over a black and white striped long-sleeved top, teamed with khaki capri pants.

Catherine finished off the look with a beige purse, dark sunglasses, and sparkling earrings.

Carys, 10, was dressed colourfully in a bright purple graphic T-shirt with a furry blue scarf wound round her neck, along with red and black checkered socks, grey sneakers with pink and purple laces, blue jeans, and a beige cardigan.

Michael and Catherine - who met at the Deauville Film Festival in France back in 1998 - confirmed their reunion earlier this year by heading off on a family skiing holiday together.

Speaking in October 2013 during an interview with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show, Michael said when asked how talks between himself and Catherine were going: 'Good I hope.

'I've been away for a while but everything should hopefully be on the up and up.

'Sometimes people take a little bit of a break, but it doesn't necessarily mean that's the end. I'm very hopeful.'

1. If they are rushing to catch a flight and are running late, then they will look stressed like most people. 2. She has her child with her, who is kept out of the limelight, but now has a camera shoved in her face, I wouldn't be looking best pleased if that was my child. 3. Sometimes people do have stressful moments, get over it, they are hardly going to be smiling 24/7.
