Wilshere enjoys a pint at Drake concert as Arsenal star takes time out from recovery

By John Drayton

Jack Wilshere took some time out from his recovery from injury as he went to watch rapper Drake in concert at London's 02 Arena on Wednesday.

The Arsenal midfielder took in the show with fellow Gunners Benik Afobe, who is currently on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, and Dan Crowley, as well as brother Tom.

And it looked as if Wilshere was enjoying himself as he and his group posed for a photo, in which he appears to be holding a pint.

It comes just two days after Wilshere had tweeted a picture of himself preparing to step into a cryotherapy chamber as he continues his recover from a fractured foot.

The 22-year-old has been sidelined since suffering the injury in a challenge with Liverpool defender Daniel Agger during England's friendly against Denmark earlier this month.

Wilshere is hoping to be back in action by mid-April, possibly in time for the FA Cup semi-final against Wigan Athletic at Wembley on April 12.

Serge Gnabry, Thomas Eisfeld and Hector Bellerin also went to the concert, with the latter posting a picture of him hanging out with singer and former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos.

look a football player wants to give it the big one off the pitch i have no problem with that as long as he produces as much on the pitch but this lad doesn't, no way .. forget what us fans think cause its just an opinion but when a legend like scholes says uve not improved since your 17 well then you've not improved since your 17. I'm just glad people are realising now how over hyped this kid is.

Scholesy's opionion is still just opinion, only two peoples opinion count for Jack, and that is Arsene and Roy, and they will both pic him the second he is fit!
