They announced their marriage split in January but Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie continue to put on a united front for the sake of their two-year-old son Luca.

The former couple played happy families at a Farmers' Market in Los Angeles on Sunday, where they soaked up the sunshine and grabbed some delicious snacks.

And they even caught up with some friends as they bumped into stylist Rachel Zoe, who was also checking out the family friendly fun with her two nannies sons, four-month old Kaius 'Kai' Jagger and three-year old Skyler.

Hilary, 26, opted for a laid back outfit of a grey long-sleeved T-shirt, ripped black jeans and some leopard print trainers.

She left her long blonde hair loose around her shoulders and wore a pair of large sunglasses.

She carried a bag full of snacks and couldn't resist tucking in as they strolled around the market.

Mike, 33, was equally casual in a white T-shirt and jeans, and clutched a cup of coffee as he pushed the stroller with Luca inside it.

Try this! The 26-year-old singer/actress loaded up on fresh snacks and passed them on to Luca who seemed a bit apprehensive at trying the exotic-looking treat

Hilary shared her snacks with Luca who seemed a bit apprehensive at first about trying the treat.

However, he seemed quite happy as his mother took him out of his stroller in order to feed him.

Hilary looked thrilled to bump into Rachel and the two ladies spent some time hanging out together and chatting before going their separate ways.

Skyler was later spotted carrying a large sunflower and letting his mom, who wore jeans and a structured black jacket, smell the pretty flower.

Besides being a busy mom, Rachel has just released her new book called Living in Style: Inspiration and Advice for Everyday Glamour.

Meanwhile, Hilary is also hard at work on her fifth album.

She plans on putting out her first single Breathing Room this spring and her record should drop later in the fall.

The sometime singer hasn't released new music since her fourth studio album Dignity way back in 2007.

She is also working hard on her film career and will next play a character called Amanda in the indie bro-comedy Flock of Dudes alongside comics Marc Maron, Chris D'Elia, Eric André, and Hannibal Buress.

Hilary just wrapped the TV Land pilot Younger - created by SATC's Darren Star - alongside Debi Mazar and Sutton Foster.

Later, Saved by the Bell's Elizabeth Berkley and her little boy Sky Cole were also spotted at the same market enjoying some mother-son time at the petting zoo.
