Saudi Arabian hybrid carrier flynas has taken delivery of the first of three Airbus A330 aircraft as it gears up to launch a new range of long-haul services.

Previously an all-A320 operator, flynas is leasing three A330s—two -200s and a -300—from Portugal’s Hi Fly.

The Saudi airline, which is switching its business model from a low-cost to a hybrid model, is launching services to several new mid- and long-haul destinations that include Casablanca, London Gatwick, Manchester and Djakarta.

The leased A330s will be operated in a three-cabin, 327-seat configuration, comprising 12 business class, 24 premium-economy class and 291 economy class seats.
