New Aki Sora 'Line-Crossing' OVA, Staff Confirmed

posted on 2010-02-05 01:13 EST

The 18th issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED Ichigo magazine has confirmed more details about the new original video anime (OVA) project based on Masahiro Itosugi's Aki Sora "line-crossing" manga, include the main creative staff. The manga already inspired an original anime DVD in December. Director Takeo Takahashi, scriptwriter Jukki Hanada, character designer/chief animation director Kazuya Kuroda, and the Hoods Entertainment anime studio are all returning from that first anime project.

The manga deals with the taboo relationship between a high school boy named Sora Aoi and his smart, athletic, "perfect" older sister Aki. The original manga has been running in Akita Shoten's Champion RED Ichigo magazine since 2008, and the third compiled book volume shipped last month with the original anime DVD.
