PROVINCES, (SANA) – In clear violation of the declaration of cessation of military operations to which the Syrian Armed Forces committed themselves to, terrorists on Friday set off a car bomb in al-Zuhour neighborhood in Daf al-Shouk area south of Damascus, martyring a number of citizens and injuring others.

A source at al-Mojtahed Hospital told SANA's correspondent that more than 10 martyrs arrived at the hospital in addition to around 30 people injured by the explosion.

In Daraa, terrorists detonated a car bomb near a law enforcement forces checkpoint in the city.

A source at Daraa National Hospital told SANA's correspondent that 11 people injured in the bombing were admitted into the hospital, some of them in critical conditions.

The explosion also caused a fire to break out in the contracts department at the Communications Establishment. The Armed Forces confronted the terrorists responsible for the attack.

In Harasta in Damascus Countryside, an Armed Forces unit confronted a terrorist group that was attacking locals near al-Thanawiye roundabout, killing and injuring the terrorists.

Another Armed Forces unit returned fire on a terrorist group that opened fire on law-enforcement forces in the entrance to Erbin area, killing a number of terrorists.

In Douma, an Armed Forces unit dealt with terrorists who broke into citizens' homes and vandalized the town.

Armed Forces Commit Five Breaches of Suspension of Military Operations in Aleppo and Its Countryside

An official source told SANA's correspondent in Aleppo that armed terrorist groups committed five breaches of the suspension of military operations to which the Armed Forces are committed to in Aleppo and its countryside.

The source said that three of the breaches were committed in Aleppo city and two in the province's countryside.

The breaches in Aleppo happened when terrorists opened fire on Syrian Arab Army forces behind Queen City hall, XO Factory, al-Turkawi roundabout, al-Ramousa and al-Badawi mosque, with the Armed Forces returning fire and inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.

In Aleppo countryside, the first breach was at the Electricity Establishment and Kafernaha, and the second at al-Tharwat turnpike at Khan al-Assad, with the Armed Forces repsoinding to these breaches and eliminating a number of terrorists, including Okla Saeed al-Kasimi, a 43-year-old Libyan.

On a relevant note, the security forces uncovered a terrorist hideout in al-Siryan area in Aleppo, confiscating weapons and munitions including two sniper rifles, two RPG launchers with six rounds, six AK-47 rifles, a number of magazines, defensive grenades, and Molotov cocktails.
