They went public in 2013 but haven't been seen together in recent months.

But Arnold Schwarzenegger was reunited with girlfriend Heather Milligan over the weekend, when they attended a party together at the Westfield Mall in Century City.

Heather was seen getting into a waiting car following the bash, with Arnie getting into the vehicle shortly afterwards.

The 66-year-old former Governor of California looked smart for the occasion in a pair of tan trousers and khaki trousers, while physical therapist Heather opted for a pair of pink trousers with a white top and sunglasses.

The couple were first spotted out together in early 2013, and the relationship appears to have gone from strength to strength.

Their relationship came after Arnie's ex-wife Maria Shriver filed for divorce, after it was revealed that the Austrian-born actor had fathered a child - Joseph - by their housekeeper Mildred Baena.

Meanwhile, Arnie's outing with Heather came after he said in a new interview that he puts his career success down to never taking 'no' for an answer.

Although he was initially told he wouldn't make it in the movie business he insists his stubborn attitude has helped him shape his career.

In his acceptance speech at the Jameson Empire Awards last month, he said: 'My advice is never take no for an answer.

'I was told I'd never get into bodybuilding. I was told I'd never make it in the movie business. They said I was too big, they said it wouldn't work with my accent. I never listened to them, and I went on to have a successful career.'

Arnie recently revealed he's 'really looking forward' to working on the Terminator: Genesis, where he will reprise the role he first played in 1984's The Terminator, after he was forced to step down from participating in the franchise while he was the Governor of California between 2003 - 2011.

He said: 'I'm really looking forward to that because as you know, the last time when they did The Terminator it was when I was governor and so I couldn't be in that movie, but now I'm back again and they are very excited about having me in the film.

'The script is fantastic, so I'm really looking forward to this film.'

Schwarzenegger will next hit the big screen in Sabotage as John 'Breacher' Wharton.

The man is an action movie legend, but seriously he is going to be the terminator again, he looks too old to do it, and although he has obviously been working out since getttingt back into acting, he looks to stooped and old to really play a mean lean killing machine.
