Michigan Legislative Retirement System
The Michigan Legislative Retirement System was created for the maintenance, and administration of a legislative members' and presiding officers' retirement system within the legislature. The system’s health plan provides its members with health, dental, vision, and hearing insurance coverage.
The MICHIGAN LEGISLATIVE RETIREMENT SYSTEM was created by Act 261 of 1957, being sections 38.1001 - 38.1080 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.
