Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law extends restraining order against niece Bobbi Kristina’s husband Nick Gordon

By Hazelann Williams

Whitney Houston's sister-in-law Patricia successfully extended her restraining order against the late singer's son-in-law Nick Gordon.

Under the terms agreed by a judge, Nick , who was raised from a young age by the chart topper, will be forced to stay at least 200 yards away from his wife's aunt at all times, for the next year.

According to TMZ Pat, who is the executor of Whitney's estate, claimed Nick made her fear for her safety by making threatening comments and posting pictures of guns on Twitter.

Pat initially took out the restraining order out in March, however a judge extended the order for the next 12 months on Thursday.

At the time of the application last month, Nick reportedly admitted he had been served with the order but said that he 'doesn't give a f***.'

Although never officially adopted by Whitney, Nick lived with the superstar singer from the age of 12.

When Bobbi Kristina and Nick married back in January, it came as a surprise to many because they had previously lived as ‘brother and sister.’

Since Whitney’s death in 2012 the Houston clan have been in turmoil, which culminated in revelations that Nick was attacked at a family function by Whitney's nephew Gary Houston in December 2013.

Gary was said to have attacked Bobbi Kristina’s husband by slamming him to the floor and punching his face because he felt he has been speaking ill of the family.

However, last month Nick tweeted pictures of what appeared to be a $3,100 AR10A SuperSASS 7.62 rifle, as well as a set of silver and black handguns.

He also referenced his wife’s relatives on the social networking site, writing: ‘Pat b***h Gary M I’m Freddy to y’all n****az.  F*** you suck my d***.’

It is not clear whether Nick posted the pictures of guns in direct relation to the feud with Patricia and Gary Houston, but it does seem as though the family dispute is no closer to being resolved.

Representatives of Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina have been contacted by the Mail Online for comment

The dysfunction continues in this family. Was Whitney the only one to inherit any good genes?

This is Deja vu with her parents except they're not as talented as Bobby & Whitney. I hope Bobbi Kristina comes to her senses soon and ditched this disrespectful leach, he's only distancing her from her family so that one day he can get his hands on the fortune her mom left her.

What a lovely husband Bobbi has. The last shred of credibility and dignity she had left as Whitney's daughter, who might turn her life round, has just gone out the window. Brilliant. Making mum proud.
