She's famous for parading her gorgeous figure in a seemingly endless stream of skimpy outfits both on and off the international fashion runways.

And Karolina Kurkova, 30, made sure on Thursday to keep up with her sartorial reputation in a revealing show of leg for a day of errands in New York.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel walked the city streets in a leather mini skirt featuring a daring thigh high slit, displaying her long and lean pins.

The gorgeous blonde strolled through the sunny streets of the Big Apple in high top trainers as she carried a leather handbag.

Pinning her luxurious locks into a neat ponytail, she hid her highly recognisable face behind a pair of dark sunglasses.

Completing her ensemble was a brightly coloured running jacket, a bit out of keeping with her chic skirt and edgy leather shoes.

The previous night the supermodel dazzled in a sleeveless belted frock at the Hollywood Reporter's 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media celebration in Manhattan.

Karolina's calf-length black number featured a slit down the front which exposed a layer of white fabric underneath.

She teamed the look with a pair of gold strappy sandals and a metallic clutch.

Although Karolina is an accomplished model having rocked the runway for the likes of Chanel and Gucci in the past, she recently admitted she isn't comfortable in front of the camera.

She said in an interview with Lucky magazine: 'I've been in this industry for 15 years - I was 15 when I started out. I’m from a really small town, and growing up, I was never all that comfortable in front of the camera.

'But one day, I agreed to pose for some pictures with a friend of mine who wanted to be a photographer, she sent them to an agency, and they called me in and told me I had the potential to be a model.'

When Karolina left, so did the last generation of genuine supermodels that represented Victoria's Secret. The "models" now are all selfie obsessed attention seekers. As pretty as they are, they've lost their class.
