Michael Douglas and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones put on show of unity as they support Meryl Streep at award ceremony
They only recently made their first public appearance together following their reconciliation.
But Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones racked up their second in as many weeks as they supported their friend Meryl Sreep in New York on Monday.
The pair looked happy and relaxed as they turned out at the 14th Annual Monte Cristo Award event.
Happy couple: Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones underlined their reunion by attending an event honouring Meryl Streep in New York on Monday
The jolly couple looked in sparkling form as they posed up with the Iron Lady actress on the pre-show red carpet.
Wall Street hunk Michael, 69, looked suave in a grey suit and blue shirt, and rounded off his look with a snazzy red tie.
Meanwhile, Catherine, 44, meanwhile was in good shape in an off-the-shoulder black top, white trousers and leather shoes.
While they had often been spotted together in recent months, they did not make their official debut until they attended the off-Broadway premiere of The Library last week.
Cheshire cat: Michael was grinning like the cat that got the cream as he stood with his much younger wife
His darling bud of may: He gazed into his wife's eyes as they enjoyed the attention at the event
Suit you sir: The Romancing The Stone star was rather dapper while Catherine also looked great
But while the show was directed by Steven Soderbergh in his stage debut and also starred Chloe Grace Moretz, there was no doubting they were in the presence of real showbusiness royalty on Monday.
Before they got back together following their split in August, Michael insisted they were working on keeping their marriage intact.
He said: 'We were just taking a little break. We’re talking. I think everything will be fine, and I’m very hopeful.'
Another trinket for the cabinet: Meryl seemed chuffed to be receiving the Monte Cristo Award
Their
friend Meryl, 64, seemed delighted to be adding an other expensive
bauble to her collection at the event at the Eugene O’Neill Theater
Center.
As well as countless minor honours, she has scooped three Oscars. two BAFTAs and two Emmy Awards.
Spec-tacular: She wore oversized glasses and an eye-catching patterned jacket to the event
Lifestyles of the rich and famous: The titanic trio seemed to be enjoying their free dinners
Ready for action: They seemed eager for the show to finally begin so they could see their friend receive her gong

Catherine did not age well. Meryl looks even younger than her in these pictures. She use to be quite lovely when she was younger.
