Dean McDermott has stepped in to take on some parenting duties.

On Monday the 47-year-old reality star was seen taking his son Liam, aged seven, to school in LA.
Wearing a light blue T shirt, designer jeans and his gold wedding band, the former actor carried his child's backpack as he made his way to the campus.

This show of fathering comes just two days after his wife Tori Spelling was released from a hospital for unknown causes after a secret six day stay.

After getting his little one settled, the father of four walked back to his black SUV.

Ray-Ban aviators kept out the sun as the patriarch looked around to see who had noticed his appearance.

The day before, Spelling looked stressed outside her Studio City home as she filmed her new reality TV show True Tori.

The 40-year-old was dressed in a leather jacket, baggy black trousers and a white top and the couldn't couldn't fail to show off her worryingly frame.

Spelling also looked unhappy and withdrawn showing that her hospitalization has clearly taken its toll on her.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress also looked very thin.

Dean was also spotted near their home on Sunday and it was revealed he was by her side during her hospital stint.

A source told E! News: 'Dean would arrive by 10am and didn't leave until 8 pm most nights. He seemed very stressed out and worried.

'He would bring food and often only left Tori to go outside to catch some air or make a phone call.'

Tori was spotted making her way to her SUV with her pink hospital bracelet visible on her wrist on Sunday.

It is not clear exactly what she was hospitalised for but the daughter of TV mogul Aaron Spelling has caused concern with her drastic weight loss since details of Dean's fling with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand were revealed.

News of Tori's hospitalization comes after it was claimed McDermott is to confess to a raft of other affairs on the reality show, True Tori.

'The band aid is going to be ripped off, and Dean will admit to Tori that he cheated on her with not only with Emily Goodhand in Toronto, but several other affairs,' a source told RadarOnline.com.

'These were one-night stands, and not long standing relationships.

'Dean wasn’t in love with any of the women he had sex with — it was only an escape, and nothing more.'

Tori - who has children Liam, aged seven, Stella, aged five, Hattie, aged two, and 17-month-old Finn with Dean - has turned to her brother Randy Spelling for support as she tries to get her life back on track.

The Sunset Beach alum told Radar Online: 'I do support her through this. I always help her, she’s my sister, so I’ll be there in any way I can.'

The 35-year-old former actor is now a life coach in Portland, Oregon, after battling and beating addiction.

According to Radar, the father-of-two runs Being In Flow with his wife Leah, and they offers couple, addiction, and spiritual coaching, which makes him ideally placed to help his sister.

'The truth is it’s a private matter and however Tori wants to handle it is up to her and whatever support I give her is behind the scenes,' he told the website despite the fact that Tori is documenting the affair in her Lifetime series, True Tori.

McDermott blamed his 'insatiable' desire for more sex than busy mother-of-four Tori could provide, for his straying.

During one therapy session, Dean told wife Tori that the couple's fortnightly love-making 'wasn't fantastic' and led to him cheating on her with another woman.

'My worst nightmare is what I did, absolutely,' he said. 'I cheated on my wife. That's my worst nightmare.'

'Or that you got caught?' Tori bravely dared ask, to which he husband was rendered speechless as
he pondered the question.

Seriously, at this point in time, reality TV filming looks so ridiculous. No one in their right mind would film real family tragedy for money and then go over board with the drama and have to wait until the film crew of many arrives, lol.
