What a dapper couple! Zac Efron and rumored girlfriend Halston Sage cuddle up at Neighbors premiere

They are reported to be 'an item' after meeting on the set of their new movie Neighbors.

And Zac Efron and Halston Sage certainly looked rather cosy as they cuddled up on the red carpet for a photo at the film's premiere in Westwood, Los Angeles, on Monday night.

Despite arriving separately, the 26-year-old High school Musical star happily wrapped his arm around Halston, 20 during a group shot.

Zac looked particularly dapper in a three piece grey suit, black tie and white shirt, while his rumoured girlfriend sorted a strapless black lacy midi-dress and strappy sandals.

The new film should hopefully prove a turning point for Efron who  spent time in rehab after struggling alcoholism and substance abuse last year and recently got into a scuffle on Skid Row.

Halston, who was seen flirting with Efron at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game earlier this month, has apparently already helped him through a tough time.

A source told E! News: 'They are definitely an item. They were seeing each other a bit during filming of their movie together and ever since he went to rehab they got a lot closer.'

'Her friends love him and say he is so sweet,' the insider added. 'He's really good to her.'

The pair joined co-stars Seth Rogen and Dave Franco on the red carpet, with the Superbad star happily signing autographs before the screening.

The Knocked Up actor arrived with wife Lauren Miller who looked pretty in a red dress with black and white spotted shoes.

Neighbors, or 'Bad Neighbors' as it will be known in the UK and Australia follows a couple (Rogen and Rose Byrne) with a newborn baby who move into a new neighborhood.

The comedy sees the couple experience a few challenges when a hard partying fraternity (led by Efron) move in next door.

'Honestly, it was kind of one of the most relatable ideas that I've ever had anything to do with in a weird way,' Rogen said in a recent interview about the movie.

'No one's made a movie about a couple struggling with the fact that they have a baby and they can't party anymore. It might be one of the single most relatable moments in humankind.'

The actor and his wife do not yet have children, with Rogen saying the subject matter of his new film did not tempt him to start a family any time soon.

'I kept saying on set, if you gave me one of those babies, I would have just taken it,' says Rogen.

'Those were good babies. They were cute; they were well behaved; they liked me. But overall, it probably drove me further from having a baby.'

Neighbors, which co-stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Carla Gallo will be released on May 9 in the US.

lol That's cuddling? He always poses like that with his female co-stars. Always trying to make something out of nothing. Until I see them actually kiss each other, not while filming a movie, I'm not buying that they are a couple.
