And Emily Blunt already has her lithe figure back as seen when she made her around Hollywood on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old worked an off-duty ensemble as she went to visit a friend.

It's little wonder the actress, who is married to actor John Krasinski, snapped back in record time after giving birth.

She was spotted on an almost daily basis hiking in the Hollywood Hills with the couple's dog, Finn.

The first-time mom-to-be ensured she was in tip-top shape throughout her pregnancy, taking every possible opportunity to fit in a workout and barely gaining any excess weight right up until the end.

Having taken some time off to focus on motherhood, the new mom is ready to get back to what she does best and as she will next shoot Sicario opposite Benicio Del Torro.

She does look lovely and refreshingly normal in this outfit. Nothing over the top and she looks great and casual. I also really like her as an actress (having just seen The Adjustment Bureau with her and Matt Damon the other day). To all new mums out there though - don't think you can and need to lose all the baby weight that quickly, for us mere mortals it's still "9 months to put the weight on, 9 months to lose it". I have two kids, so know what I am talking about. The younger one is three now and I am again a UK size 8-10, but it does take a while.

Not for everyone...my mother lost hers almost immediately with all three children (even when she was in her 40's for 2 of them) and my cousin was the same...sometimes I think it can be down to how much weight is gained and good genes.
