It's not your wedding day yet! Kim Kardashian wows in cream skirt with dramatic train at USC Shoah Foundation event

By Juliet Paylor and James Leyfield

She recently confirmed she is yet to marry her fiance Kanye West.

But Kim Kardashian looked to be getting some practice in ahead of her imminent big day as she wore a cream Lanvin skirt with a dramatic train while attending an event in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The star teamed her impressively long skirt with a matching cream Balmain blazer and Alexander McQueen shirt as she showed her support for survivors of the Armenian genocide at the USC Shoah Foundation 20th Anniversary Ambassadors For Humanity Gala, also attended by US President Barack Obama.

Just two days after making her triumphant return to the Met Gala - where she more than made up for last year's floral disaster by wowing the crowd in a sexy blue and black satin custom Lanvin gown - the reality star was rubbing shoulders with the Obama.

The 33-year-old's style transformation also appears to be complete as she hit the red carpet looked elegant and classy in the ethereal neutral ensemble, which also included a frilly white Alexander McQueen blouse and cream silk Balmain blazer with satin lapels.

Her long dark tresses were worn in a simple low ponytail - a style she has been favouring a lot of late - while her face was beautifully made up with a deep golden base, lashings of black mascara and shimmery gold shadow, her lips a glossy nude hue.

Understated elegance: The star paid tribute to her Armenian heritage at the exclusive gala, while she looked simply stunning in an elegant and classy neutral ensemble consisting of figure-hugging floor-length cream silk skirt, a white frilly blouse and cream silk blazer with satin lapels

The President was a special featured speaker during the night's proceedings, while he was also being honoured with the Institute's Ambassador For Humanity Award, which was presented by
Oscar-winning director, producer and screenwriter Steven Spielberg.

The 52-year-old was looking dapper in a smart black suit as he made his way into the event with Shoah Foundation founder Spielberg.

The gala was the first stop in the President's whirlwind three-day visit to California, during which he
is fundraising for the Democratic Party.

Respecting her past: Kim attended the event with Yevnige Salbian, a 100-year-old genocide survivor from her family's native Armenia

While the evening was hosted by Conan O'Brien, he was also joined by special guest Liam Neeson.

Entertainment was provided by Bruce Springsteen, while Rita Wilson and stepson Colin Hanks were among the star-studded invited guests, which also included Octavia Spencer, Samuel L Jackson, Jessica Capshaw and Christa Miller.

After diligently doing the rounds meeting with key guests, the President sat chatting animatedly with the likes of Spielberg and wife Kate Capshaw, Conan and Bruce at the head table.

Wait..What happened to her PRIVACY request from yesterday? Her head looks like it swallowed an ill fitting dress. I laughed so hard. This woman is a fashion disgrace. She looks like she's wearing a ran downed poodle skirt! ROFL

I feel sorry for the people on here with their vicious comments about this woman. You are all jealous ,she is living the american dream, she has a hubby to be that adores her,she is now a mother and a good one at that. She works very hard, thats why she is rich. The paps love her which makes her the most photographed woman in the world at the moment. If the people on here were happy with themselves, they wouldnt be slating this woman at all.Women should embrace each other, not hate one another for no reason.

The only thing that got HER into that event is her bloodline nothing else!

Gets it all wrong, as usual. Zero style, zero class.

Seems to me that she just wants to be a "bride" all the time and not a "wife".

Wow! I find her over the top looking, nothing natural about her at all. As for the event, well, all publicity is good for such a charity
