Moston

In the 18th and 19th century Moston was at the heart of Manchester's booming cotton industry and officially became part of the city in 1890.
The area recently found itself at the heart of a contentious legal battle over the potential construction of the new FC United stadium in the area.
An ongoing dispute in the area is over the large number of off-licences on Moston Lane, which has been dubbed 'alcohol alley' by local councillors.
