Wow those Germans really pack in the booze don't they? - Tamar, London, United Kingdom, 5/5/2013 21:33 ---------------LOL I was thinking the same thing. Lots of liquid in Germany :D - Star, in the sky _______________________ I was trying to work out what they were drinking - it looked like a lot and it didn't all look like soda. I also can't figure out what the huge amounts of white drinks are in the Kuwait home. And the round tube with "digestive" written on it in the British picture - what's a digestive? What strikes me is all these families, with the exception of the ones from Darfur, seem to be pretty wealthy. Especially the Egyptian family - according to CNN they had their "Arab spring" because they only had $30.00 a month to spend on food and they were all starving. Either $30.00 goes really far in Egypt or these people have considerably more than that. Forget health - I couldn't afford to eat all the fast food the family from North Carolina eats.

Pippa Middleton's perfect picnic column in Waitrose calls for vanilla bean paste and dried lavender

Comments (474)

You know - sites like the DM were the ones who drug her into the spotlight in the first place by over hyping her non-existent bum as she was bridesmaid at her sister's wedding. They wouldn't let it drop, insisting on giving her the absurd nickname "her royal hotness" and following her around taking pictures. We don't know if she wanted all this attention or not. She's a private citizen and she's trying to work. So why are they trying to tear down every effort she makes? And I notice not only does C amilla's son have a column on this very site, they close the comments so no one can tear down his efforts.

He's meant to be the grownup! Will Smith kids around with lookalike son Jaden as they promote their new sci-fi movie in Japan

Comments (80)

I don't think I could sit through an entire movie of Jaden pulling that one slack jawed, wrinkled brow facial expression. And he has that one facial expression on all through the trailer. The director should have put a stop to it on the first day of shooting. Plus why is this the summer of the Apocalypse movies? This isn't the only movie with this theme coming out.

From Katy Perry's 'lost' couture gown to Rhianna's soiled birthday dress: Celebs who steal, misplace and ruin borrowed designer clothes

Comments (79)

Simple - stop giving these rich celebrities freebies. Make them pay full price like everyone else. I have trouble feeling too sorry for anyone who would loan Lindsey Lohan a dress.

All aboard for the American Dream: Desperate migrants ride the 'Train of Death' through Mexico to reach the U.S risking violent attack, rape and kidnap

Comments (272)

They have an interview Wolf Blitzer did with Vincente Fox. Vincente was insisting that Mexicans illegally crossing into America should not only be granted the same legal rights as American citizens he was insisting on fringe benefits full citizens didn't have like free university and free medical care. Wolf asked him if Mexico extended the same courtesy to people crossing over illegally into Mexico. Without skipping a beat, Vincente said no, they arrested them and jailed them because they were breaking the law in Mexico. In other words, Mexico handles its poverty problem by exporting its poor and expecting the US to take care of them at great cost. But Mexico would never tolerate such a situation with any of its neighbors. They treat people who cross illegally into their country horribly and shamefully,

Nurse sacked for sharing 27 free cans of fizzy drinks among colleagues after vending machine fault

Comments (220)

She didn't break into the machine and steal them! The machine dished them out! Talk about an OTT reaction and a complete waste of money and time. - laurajn087 , london _______________________ So by your logic it would also be perfectly legal for her to walk into a store and take 27 bottles of pop? How about if she went into your house and took 27 bottles of pop while you were out? Maybe if the door were left unlocked so she didn't have to break in? Someone bought that pop - the business who owned the machine. Probably a small business owner. No wonder people don't want to do business in the UK - I can't imagine owning a store there, it must be a nightmare with people's attitudes towards them.

Roaring Twenties... and Thirties! Isla Fisher, 37, upstages leading lady Carey Mulligan, 27, at the premiere of The Great Gatsby

Comments (98)

The Great Gatsby is widely read because it is well-written. It doesn't need all these embellishments and it certainly didn't need to be in 3-D. Why does Baz Luhrmann feel the need to make all his movies so over-the-top?

Vintage mommy-to-be doll has spring-loaded baby and belly that is INSTANTLY flat afterwards

Comments (131)

perhaps if they made it cried like a real baby, sick, poop and gives of odours perhaps it might have made a lot of kids think about not getting preggies causing an influx of under age teenage births. - pup, kingslynn, United Kingdom _________________________] Baby Alive eats, wets and poops - her mouth moves and you have to change her diapers ( I don't think there's a boy version). And of course there's the controversial "breast feeding" doll they released a Christmas or two ago where the kid put some sort of a vest over her chest and the doll's mouth would move like it was breast feeding. I wouldn't give them any ideas about a baby that gets sick. Though it's possible someone invented one and I haven't heard of it.
