From Monday, February 24, through Sunday, March 2, Vanity Fair took over Los Angeles with its annual Campaign Hollywood celebration: a series of V.I.P. events and happenings with its exclusive advertising partners during the week leading up to the Oscars. Throughout the week, glasses were raised in honor of Hollywood’s best and brightest, from a toast to “Young Hollywood” with Fiat to a celebration with Chrysler and the cast of American Hustle; to D.J. Night with L’Oréal Paris and the Lancôme and Clarisonic Day of Beauty; to Leon Max and Benedikt Taschen’s celebration of the new sumo-size book by photographer Annie Leibovitz; to Vanity Fair’s legendary Oscar party, where Grey Goose and Stella Artois flowed for the A-list attendees.
This year also marked the debut of Vanity Fair Social Club—a weeklong, invitation-only social suite for select influencers. Held at the creative coworking space, WeWork Hollywood, V.F. Social Club provided a chic and connected place for guests to drop by, plug in, and work from during the week leading up to the Academy Awards. Guests also enjoyed special programming and events such as editor panels on Oscar predictions and red-carpet fashion; a daily menu featuring Vittoria coffee, mornings powered by Chobani, and cocktails by Mionetto prosecco; giveaways from brands such as Giorgio Armani Beauty and Taschen Books via the V.F. Vending Machine powered by Twitter; and “hot” desks with devices provided by Dell.
Chrysler was the official vehicle for Campaign Hollywood 2014, providing V.I.P. transportation throughout the week for notables such as Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Anna Kendrick.
