Serial red carpet pest Vitalii Sediuk has struck again, proving that no celebrity gathering is safe from him.

The Ukrainian journalist - who in the past has been slapped by Will Smith for trying to kiss him on a red carpet, crotch-hugged Bradley Cooper at a premiere and stormed the Grammys stage during Adele's acceptance speech - caused a scene at Cannes on Friday.

During the How to Train Your Dragon 2 premiere at The Palais des Festivals he ran onto the carpet where he lay on the ground and put his head under America Ferrera's voluminous white dress as she posed for pictures with her co-stars.

In shock: While America tried to remain calm she was visibly upset and was comforted by co-star Cate Blanchett

Security quickly rushed out to remove the notorious pest while America remained calm but looked visibly upset.

However, her co-stars including Kit Harrington and Cate Blanchette were not impressed, and turned from the bank of photographers to look on in disgust at his actions.

He had a credentials pass around his neck but it is unclear how exactly he managed to get in to the prestigious event, especially considering his reputation.

How did he make it so far? The pest can be seen crawling behind America before launching his attack

Jumping into action: As soon as the prankster was notice, security jumped into action and removed him

Horrified: While America was horrified by what happened, she did not make a scene and some co-stars did not even realise what was happening at first

Taken away: Security quickly got involved and led the Ukrainian journalist away from the red carpet and America

In 2012, Hollywood's nice guy Will Smith angrily slapped Sediuk on the face after he tried to kiss him on the lips on the red carpet at the Men In Black 3 premiere.

Will managed to dodge two lunges, with each kiss landing on his cheek, before he pushed the professional fool away and gave him a limp tap on the face.

Blockbuster footage from the Russian LifeNews station showed the angry actor and rapper telling him: 'Hey man, what the hell is your problem?'

What is going on? The whole cast appeared to be shocked and appalled by what was happening

Unwanted interruption: The notorious prankster interrupted the premiere with his actions

Unruffled: The prankster didn't appear to care about his undignified stunt, laughing as he was removed from the carpet

Farce: America's co-stars were unsure of what to do as the farce played out but luckily security took care of it

The Fresh Prince star later laughed about the incident, telling another reporter down the line: 'He tried to kiss me on the mouth.

'He's lucky I didn't try to sucker punch him. ... Sorry, I said that on camera.'

At the 2013 Grammys, he was arrested after crashing the stage just as Adele was about to receive her award.

Sediuk ran to the podium to accept the accolade from Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull before the Skyfall singer could get up the stairs and later spent the night in a police cell.

In January of this year, Bradley Cooper was surprised at the SAG awards when the journalist lunged at him.

He kneeled and hugged the actor around his waist, putting his face in Bradley's crotch to the star's discomfort and embarrassment.

And at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, in February, Leonardo DiCaprio became the latest A-lister to fall victim to red carpet prankster.

Sediuk, also grabbed the star around the waist in a similar move to what he did to Cooper.

However, DiCaprio did crack a small smile at the gag.

This is pretty horrendous. I know a lot of people are applauding him because he is doing it to a celebrity, but imagine if he did this to you when you were walking down the street! You'd probably call the police... I know I would. He is taking advantage of the fact that celebrities cannot retaliate because of the bad press they will get for it. Nobody deserves that.
