Besotted Dakota Fanning strolls hand-in-hand with British model boyfriend Jamie Strachan on romantic NY date

They have been dating for one year but Dakota Fanning and Jamie Strachan looked more in love than ever on a romantic walk around New York City on Saturday.

Dakota, 20, and her hunky 32-year-old British model boyfriend weren't shy about showing their affection as they strolled hand-in-hand down the street.

The former child star was dressed for her day date in a yellow sweater, skinny blue jeans, short blue boots, and circular-framed sunglasses.

Dakota held on to an iced coffee and her boyfriend's hand as they took in the neighborhood's sights.

While Jamie may be known for his work in front of the camera he has a passion for working behind the camera as well.

The aspiring photographer, whose Instagram account is filled with black-and-white urban scenes, carried a camera slung around his torso.

Dakota is awaiting the release of her newest film, Effie Gray, about the obscure relationship between famed Victorian John Ruskin and his teenage bride Euphemia.

In early May Deadline announced Dakota Fanning's role as Susannah Cahalan in Brain On Fire, which is described as 'a memoir that follows a young woman’s terrifying descent into insanity'.

The film will be produced by Charlize Theron's production company, Denver and Delilah.
