‘Life is good’: Justin Bieber is in a happy mood as he arrives in Cannes for the Vanity Fair And Armani Party

He’s had a turbulent few weeks in the public eye, but it seems Justin Bieber is looking on the bright side of life.

The singer got out of the States, where he is being sued by a photographer and is under criminal investigation for allegedly attempting to steal a phone, to enjoy some of the festivities at the 67th Cannes International Film Festival.

The first party he headed to was the star-studded event hosted by Vanity Fair and Armani at Eden Roc in the French city, and while enjoying the merriment, Justin, 20, tweeted 'life is good'.

Justin's healthy attitude coincides with a report from TMZ that the star has now stopped taking 'sizzurp' which is a codeine cocktail.

Justin wore a tan leather bomber jacket with a white T-shirt, baggy jeans and white high top trainers that featured gold detail to match his expensive watch and chain.

He rubbed the shoulders with the likes of Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts, Russell Crowe and Rosario Dawson at the exclusive celebration on Saturday night.

Before the party, Beiber had taken a turn around the city with his entourage, who he had flown in to France with on a private jet.

He was taking a break from a number of legal issues that have been reportedy over the last week that include being sued by a photographer because one of his bodyguards allegedly locked him in a fast food restaurant.

The alleged incident took place in the early hours of January 23, 2014 in Miami Beach, the night that Bieber was arrested for DUI.

TMZ claims to have obtained the lawsuit filed by Manuel Munoz, who alleges the incident took place after he photographed Bieber leaving SET Nightclub, just before his arrest.

Justin also reportedly called a woman a 'b***h' for trying to take his picture at a riding stable.

Melinda Giel-Murray told TMZ, that she was riding at the Circle K Stables in Burbank, CA when Bieber arrived to do some horse riding.

Giel-Murray alleges that Bieber called her the name when she was filming him, hours before the Baby singer allegedly removed a cell phone from the purse of a mother at the Sherman Oaks Castle Park in San Fernando Valley.

A representative for Justin has declined to comment.
