Police have not established a motive for the shooting and are still searching for suspects at this time, sources told the Charleston Post and Courier.

Witnesses reported hearing an altercation just before 3.00 a.m. Saturday right before the shots were fired outside of the Lake House Club, on Mosquito Beach, police told the paper.

Moore was rushed to a local hospital and died shortly after arriving.

White, his 32-year-old half-brother, plays wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. The team issued the following statement late Saturday.

‘We were all saddened to learn about the death of Roddy's brother Tyrone,’ said owner Arthur Blank.

‘Roddy is part of our Falcons family, and families stand together in difficult circumstances. Roddy and his family can count on our support through this very trying time.

‘On behalf of the entire Falcons organization, we extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to Roddy, his mother Joenethia, and their entire family.’

Moore lived with White in Atlanta for many years, even attending high school in the city, according to CBS Sports.

The brothers grew up on James Island, where their mother still lives, according to the Post and Courier.

White’s former high school football coach Mike Mooneyham told the paper of his fond memories of the Falcon’s brother.

‘I still remember Ty as a toddler when he used to come out to Roddy's games,’ he said. ‘His mom was always running after him, and I told her then that Ty was going to be faster than Roddy one day. His passing breaks my heart.’

Local authorities declined to provide further information when contacted by MailOnline until the completion of an incident report. The investigation remains ongoing.

I feel bad for the guy, but there are no "stars" on the Atlanta Falcons. Haven't been for a while!

I I was visiting relatives and they said "let's go out" , and if they brought me to a place that looks like this I would demand to be taken back home... This just looks like a place where you could lose your life!

Wrong place at the wrong time. But from the looks of it, there'd never be a good time to be there.
