She has a career which frequently looks easier than it probably is.

But Australian actress Cate Blanchett's latest job as a model for the acclaimed International Watch Company looked positively plain sailing.

Joined on a yacht in Portofini, Italy, the star had to model the range of high-end, luxury, designer watches while enjoying the local weather.

Wearing an Armani suit, the Blue Jasmine star was joined on the private yacht by Emily Blunt, Zhou Xun, Ewan McGregor and Christoph Waltz during the shooting for the new campaign.

In the advert the big-screen stars use their sailing skills to track down Giorgio Armani in his yacht.

Filming in the scorching Italian heat, the stars were closely supervised by assistants and production crew, who ensured they look matte and perfectly groomed.

At one point Cate could be see slipping into something more comfortable - a pair of slippers, before resuming her stiletto status for the shoot.

Keeping it casual, designer Giorgio looked relaxed in a a blue, long-sleeved jumper with grey shorts and a pair of white trainers.

Between takes, he could be seen giving Cate direction as the shoot progressed throughout the day.

The International Watch company are considered the Rolls Royce of watch companies and their prices range from £1,000-£20,000, but unlike many of their competitors they are classy, elegant and discreet.

Cate recently said that women are subjected to unfair judgment when it comes to balancing work and motherhood because of stereotypes that are 'complete rubbish'.

The 45-year-old actress and mum-of-three spoke out about the 'raft of judgement' levelled at women who play mothers on screen, while promoting her new film How To Train Your Dragon 2 in Cannes.

The award winning beauty criticised how she was always asked about her ability to maintain a balance between working on high profile films and looking after her three sons.

'It's a certainly a question that's never asked of men. The question is only ever directed towards of women,' the actress said according to the Telegraph UK.

I always make it a point not to purchase products advertised by movie stars, they have their own field of employment and should stick to it. Anyway it takes jobs away from those that are in the industry of modelling, all the young people that are struggling to make a crust need the work she and her like do not.

it has to be said, your point is pretty ridiculous! At least actors have some talent, rather than just making money off the good looks they were born with but didn't earn or learn to attain like the fairly brainless seeming array of models perpetually thrust down our throats in the papers.
