She's been one of the hardest-working Cannes Film Festival attendees this year, and has made sure she's hit the red carpet at numerous star-studded events.

But Eva Longoria made sure to enjoy a well-earned rest on Sunday morning as she indulged in her caffeine fix from a sun-soaked rooftop on the French Riviera.

Enjoying a rather glamorous location for her morning coffee, the 39-year-old actress seemed to be surveying the scene below as she cast her eye over the side of the rooftop while taking a break from a photoshoot.

The previous night, she made a dazzling impact as she worked her magic in front of the camera at the Global Gift Gala at the Carlton Cannes Hotel l on Friday.

Showing off her derriere in a stunning, skintight pale pink backless dress with a mermaid finish - a look that was almost identical to Kim Kardashian's May 13 Instagram shot - the star didn't disappoint.

Eva and Kim are friends - they have posed together at awards shows and have sat side-by-side at basketball games. So it may just be an homage to the daughter of Kris Jenner.

Longoria wore her dark hair swept back in an elegant knot while more voluminous on top and highlighted her beautiful brown eyes with plenty of dark eye shadow and mascara while going natural on the lips with a coat of gloss.

She sported sparkling diamond earrings and a single red string around her left wrist.

The gala treated guests to musical acts such as Sons Of Gypsy Kings and Igor Butman Jazz, followed by a live auction.

The event raised 400,000 Euros, which will be divided equally between The Eva Longoria Foundation and The Children For Peace, which supports vulnerable women and children around the world.

Eva’s foundation aids Latinas in building better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship.

Also present at the gala were Dita Von Teese, Carole Bouquet, Jane Fonda, Denise Rich, Prison Break star Amaury Nolasco and Robin Thicke.

After the event, the Devious Maids executive producer and her friends partied it up at La Plage du Carlton by Nikki Beach, one of the luxury lifestyle brand’s pop-up locations.

Eva applauded the event’s success: ‘It has been a fantastic week in Cannes and we’re delighted to bring The Global Gift Gala to the Carlton Hotel for an evening of celebration and philanthropy.

‘The generous donations that we received tonight will ensure that we can continue to raise awareness and funds to help affect positive change in the world.’

She also hosted a Global Gift Gala in Paris on Monday, looking regal in a midnight blue gown.
