Cute carry-on! Uma Thurman makes a casual landing in jeans with daughter Luna and a bunny toy for Cannes event

Uma Thurman is gearing up to co-host a special screening of Pulp Fiction with director Quentin Tarantino at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday.

The leggy star switched to Mommy mode as she arrived at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport a day ahead of the exciting event with her two-year-old daughter Luna in tow.

At 44 years old, Uma was a stunning and fresh-faced figure as she strolled through the terminal with her adorable carry-on, which was of course her blonde tot and a white bunny toy that was almost as big as the child.

Luna clung to her 'baby' and her mother as she was hoisted through busy baggage claim, perhaps wondering what all the fuss was about.

The little girl is Uma's daughter with London-based, French businessman Arpad Busson. (She has two older children, Maya, 16, and Levon, 12, from her marriage to actor Ethan Hawke.)

Uma's presence said it all, for even in cuffed jeans and a plain powder-blue jumper, she was worthy of her star status.

Uma is set to co-host one of Cannes most eagerly anticipated events - a screening of the 1994 cult classic Pulp Fiction, 20 years after it won the festival's Palme d'Or.

The Tarantino-directed movie revolved around an unforgettable cast of characters played by John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer and Thurman of course.

Travolta's scenes with Uma, who played a gangster's drug-addicted wife, helped to launch them to super-stardom and for the actor it was actually a successful comeback.

Tarantino, 51, went on to become one of the world's most reknowned filmmakers with Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds and the Kill Bill franchise now under his belt.

Uma made a dazzling turn while attending the Ralph Lauren Fall 2014 Children's Fashion Show on Monday in New York.

For that event, which supported the spread of literacy and was held at the landmark New York Public Library, Uma impressed in a bright green midi-length skirt and silky tan blouse cuffed at the elbows, along with modestly high, tan heels.
