Alanis Morissette has won seven Grammies over the course of her prolific music career.

Although on Tuesday, it appeared as if her musical accomplishments had paled in comparison to the the feeling of holding her three-year-old son, Ever.

The 39-year-old htimaker looked to be in high spirits while holding her son and grabbing groceries in Brentwood alongside her husband Mario Treadway.

The seven-time Grammy winner flashed a smile in a stylishly torn blue top and jeans.

She shouldered a black backpack and added an exotic touch to her edgy outfit with a pair of animal-print flats.

Alanis appeared to have faced the day without a scrap of make-up, although did accessorise with a pair of cat-eye sunglasses.

The You Oughta Know singer gazed at Ever, who looked to be munching on an open bag of berries.

Alanis' husband Mario matched his wife's casual style in a patterned shirt and knee-length shorts.

The rapper did some of the heavy lifting and carried the family's groceries in recyclable bags.

Later, the trio huddled together while strolling down the street and appeared to be sharing a laugh.

The couple - who recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary - couldn't resist flashing a smile as they chatted together.

Alanis tweeted of their recent anniversary on Thursday: 'happy anniversary to my soulmate in arms... what a beautiful and rich ride this has already been angel one'

And while it may have been two years since Alanis has released any new music, the slim mother's upcoming film The Price Of Desire is set to be released in 2014.

Alanis stars opposite Orla Brady and Vincent Perez in a film that details the life of architect prolific Eileen Gray.
