Career Development
We focus on developing solid business skills in our full time employee staff along with continuing to increase technical competencies.
We believe we have the best of both worlds at HMB with high-quality technology services work and a family-oriented atmosphere where a 40-hour work week is typical.
We emphasize both people skills and technology training as we consistently monitor the technical developments in our industry. Our mentoring program, providing a path to accelerated professional development, ensures you will always have someone to bounce ideas off of when challenges arise.
You have the ability to take on different roles outside your current workload, such as mentoring, continuing to learn through on-going training and getting involved with technology industry organizations.
Key areas of staff development include:
HMB Grad Academy
Through our 3-week Grad Academy, new graduates get to know each other as they make the transition from college to career. They receive technology training, information about HMB business practices and learn how “real-world” business applications are put into practice. Technology training is ongoing throughout the year and is also provided through HMB University.
HMB University
HMB University includes continuing IT education with hands-on events scheduled weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually to stay ahead of evolving technology. Additional programs include Lunch-and-Learns, Technology Deep Dives, an annual Meet and Code and Now Playing conference viewing events.
