With her pale cotton shirt teamed with baggy white trousers, Anna Faris cut a cool and casual figure on Saturday. 

The actress indulged in some grocery shopping at Bristol Farms before grabbing lunch with her parents in West Hollywood. 

The 37-year-old star strode along in comfortable sandals and shielded her eyes with aviator sunglasses, while carrying a brown Gucci purse.

She accessorized with a simple beaded bracelet and wore her silky blonde hair long and loose.

It looked like Anna had some time off from mommy duty on Saturday - she has a 21-month-old son Jack with her husband, actor Chris Pratt, 34. 

The blonde funnywoman stars in the comedy series, Mom, as a newly sober and single mother Christy, who restarts her life in Napa, California.

She works as a waitress and attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, while her mother is also a recovering drug and alcohol addict.

Christy’s teenage daughter, who was born when she was 16, also becomes a teen mom via her boyfriend.

CBS recently renewed Mom for a second season, with Anna describing the gig as ‘the best job of my life’ in a recent interview with the LA Times.

‘I’m always grateful as an actor to be working,’ she said. ‘But this job has been not only personal but very fulfilling in a lot of ways.

'It’s a chunk of time – I think 10 months – and the process of getting the script on Monday and performing live on Friday is – you almost can’t think about it too much. It’s a moment to moment process… It is nice to have a month or two off.’

Meanwhile, it has been announced that Anna and her husband Chris will star in the upcoming comedy film, Vacation Friends.

The plot follows a straight-laced couple who meet a carefree and party-loving pair (Faris and Pratt) while on vacation in Mexico but can't seem to shake them off when they return home.
