In little over a week she will find herself in the media glare once again as she competes in Wimbledon 2014.

However Maria Sharapova managed to find a quiet moment to spend with boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov on Friday as they walked through the sunny capital.

The stunning tennis player, 27, looked as though she could have been training earlier in the day as she, as well as her hunky companion, 23, stepped out in similarly, sporty attire.

The leggy beauty must have been feeling a little warm in her long-sleeved grey jumper, which she teamed with loose-fitting black trousers.

The pair both kept their sunglasses firmly on, with Maria finishing off her low-key look with grey trainers and a simple gold chain.

She tweeted the day before: 'How do I end up watching Friends during the #WorldCup debut game?', while her fellow tennis star companion wore red trainers and shorts.

She is known for combining her incredible tennis skills with effortless style, managing to look sporty but chic in her pink and orange Nike tennis outfit.

And it seemed that Maria had no problem employing that same trademark style away from the court the previous day.

The star, who last week clinched her fifth grand slam title, looked every inch the champion as she enjoyed another outing with her man.

The smitten couple were seen browsing in shop windows and clutching each other's hands as they walked through Wimbledon.

The 6ft 2in athlete, who is no stranger to this part of the capital, was pictured wearing a flattering sheer shirt, leopard-print sunglasses and an oversized black handbag during her meander.

And after battling her way to the French Open title last week in a nail-biting final, it's no wonder the tennis star fancied a bit of down time.

Just last week, the tennis ace beat Simona Halep in a gripping final to win her second French Open title and fifth Grand Slam crown.

She has been in London for the past few days to watch her boyfriend beat Britain's James Ward in the second round of the Queen's Club Aegon Championship.

Days earlier, Maria celebrated her win with a glamorous photo shoot next to the Eiffel tower.

She is due compete in the Wimbledon Tennis Championship, which starts on June 23.
