New pictures have emerged of the hotel room where Brittny Gastineau was attacked, showing blood stains on the walls and broken glass on the floor

The model and friend of Kim Kardashian was involved in an altercation at The London Hotel in West Hollywood a week ago, and on Tuesday displayed horrific black eye and facial injuries as she headed out to dinner.

The photographs of the room show blood smeared on the bathroom door, bed sheets and furniture, with TMZ reporting that 'the blood trail continued into the hallway and elevator.'

Bottles of booze and beer were also 'scattered around the hotel room' according to TMZ while guests' heard a lot of door slamming, cursing, and breaking glass.'

TMZ reported it was Brittny's boyfriend Marquis Lewis - an artist who goes by the name 'Retna' - who was responsible for her injuries.

On Friday a source added to UsWeekly that Brittny didn't start the fight.

'They had a heated argument, but in no way was she the aggressor,' the insider said.

But Lewis' attorney Michael Goldstein is claiming that the fight was mutual and it was the brunette beauty - a good friend of Kim Kardashian - who was the aggressor as he had just gotten out of knee surgery and was on crutches.

The former reality star has reportedly hired a lawyer as police are now investigating the fight.

Marquis had checked into the London Hotel in West Hollywood a week ago Monday to 'recuperate from major knee surgery - surgery that had just been performed,' according to Lewis' attorney.

He told TMZ that Brittny came to visit the night after he checked into the hotel and they got into a 'major argument.'

'Goldstein says his client was almost defenceless from the physical attack because he was unable to walk without crutches,' the site relayed. 'There was lots of swinging, and in the end Retna was also seriously injured - his face and eye were swollen, his painting hand was injured and his ear was cut up.'

Goldstein told TMZ, 'Retna was not the aggressor' but added that his client is 'cool' with Brittny. The couple are 'in the process of settling their differences' according to the lawyer and was 'surprised' the looker showed off her bruise in public.

Brittny was reportedly beaten so badly she had to go to the hospital.

After doctors believed it could be a domestic violence situation, police were called, it was reported, and the beauty was interviewed.

Brittny has since hired a lawyer who will either 'force a settlement or sue the alleged perpetrator,' a source explained to TMZ.

On Monday she retweeted a heartfelt message posted to her from Malika, another of the Kardashian friends, suggesting she may be going through a difficult time.

It read: ‘The naked eye does not foresee pain but the heart knows how to regulate future destruction thru courage. @brittgastineau.’

Brittny was last seen attending Kim and Kanye’s wedding in Florence, along with various other friends and family last month.
