It looks like just one outfit didn't do it for Ashley Greene.

The svelte 27-year-old swapped her hip-hugging blue jeans for a pair of ripped Daisy Duke shorts while strolling through New York City on Friday.

The Twilight actress looked every inch the trendsetter in a sheer white top while appearing at a Meet And Greet at eye wear store Oakley's in New York City on Friday.

The actress - who was recently named the New Face of Oakley - flashed a smile while dressed in an unbuttoned white blouse that loosely hung upon her figure.

She wore her hair down in loose waves, and added a touch of glam with a few golden bracelets.

A coat of smokey eyeshadow amplified the actress' eyes, while a pair of snake-print flats polished off the look.

Later, Ashley turned up the sex appeal in a pair of ripped black shorts that showed off her toned legs to full effect.

She swapped the white top for a snug grey tank top that bared her shoulders, and kept it comfortable in a pair of black flats.

With a quilted black purse slung over her shoulder, Ashley layered up in a small black sweater while chatting with a friend.

Meanwhile, Ashley has been very busy recently with four films due to be released shortly.

They include the horror flick Kristy and the comedy Wish I Was Here, which was written and directed by and also stars Zach Braff.

Hitting cinemas on July 18, the film was funded using crowd-funding program Kickstarter where fans pledged over $3.1 million to get the movie made.

Kirsty- which previously went by the titles Random and Satanic - sees the star take on the sinister character of Violet. 

She and her fellow 'outcast' buddies terrorise a college student who stays behind on the deserted campus during the Thanksgiving holiday.
