They're known for turning heads, and Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton did just that on Thursday evening when they stepped out for a low-key night in London.

The couple enjoyed a night out at The Groucho Club in Dean Street before making a beeline for their hotel in the rear of a black cab.

Sporting a stylish black minidress, Tamsin caught the eye during her latest night out with Josh – who she started dating in August 2012 on the set of director Roland Joffe’s Singularity.

Hartnett, whose career trajectory has stuttered over recent years, looked casual in loose fitting grey top and black jeans as he walked two steps ahead of his British girlfriend.

The 35-year-old actor checked messages on his mobile phone as Tamsin, 25, followed close behind.

The actress teamed her outfit with a pair of casual black shoes, while a simple black handbag rounded off an understated ensemble.

Climbing into the rear of their cab, she showed off her slender legs as they prepared for the drive back to their London hotel.

The good looking couple were accompanied by two pals for the short journey, and they joined them in the rear of their waiting car.

While Josh’s acting career has fallen under the radar, Tamsin has enjoyed a prolonged run of prominent film roles – amongst them a lead in The Look Of Love, the story of Soho club entrepreneur Paul Raymond.

Reflecting on his extensive career, Josh recently told chroniclelive.co.uk: 'I know what it's like to be in that whole world.
