More than good neigh-bors! Aladdin the miniature horse nuzzles and licks his puppy friend Tara

By Daily Mail Reporter

An adorable new video sees a miniature horse bonding with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

The foal named Aladdin - who lives on a farm in the Netherlands - is seen affectionately nuzzling Tara the dog on its head and at one point their noses meet.

It then goes about licking its new friend on the face and paws as she rolls over on her back in delight.

Both animals reside at Dreamcatchers Minipaarden, a miniature horse breeding center around 10km west of Amsterdam.

Anja Heppeneer, the farm's stable manager, captured them getting close earlier this month on her cell phone.

Also seen in the clip is Aladdin's mother, who appears unperturbed by what's happening.

Ms Heppeneer says that she often lets Tara out to play with the friendly horses and she likes to think she's 'one of them.'

Indeed, one video Ms Heppeneer uploaded to Facebook shows Tara alongside a horse, copying it by eating grass - not a dog's usual food choice.

The new clip of the hound bonding with Aladdin has been watched more than 120,000 times since it was uploaded to YouTube on June 5.

Many viewers have deemed the footage 'cute' and 'adorable' and one added: 'I don't know which one I want more!'

Aladdin the pony is currently on sale for $2,030 (€1,500) but Tara remains a permanent resident of  the breeding facility.

Great pics. So good to see animals bonding. And yes, dogs do eat grass. It is for their digestive system.

Lovely video. On a side note, dogs do in fact eat grass normally. Anyone who owns a dog will know this.

Staffies aren't always a dangerous breed, it's how one trains them.
