Double celebration? Courteney Cox treats daughter Coco, 10, to birthday dinner... as she flashes massive rock on left hand

On Thursday she joined ex-husband David Arquette as they treated daughter Coco to a birthday shopping spree at Marc Jacobs.

And it seems the celebrations haven't stopped for the 10-year-old youngster as Courteney Cox treated her to dinner at Cecconi's in West Hollywood on Friday. The pair were joined by friends as they posed happily for photos outside the eatery.

But her daughter's milestone may not be the only happy event for the 49-year-old Cougar Town actress, as she was spotted showing off a very large ring on her engagement finger, giving another big hint that the star is set to wed Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, 37.

Courteney looked pretty in a blue floaty mid-length sundress.

She left her raven locks loose around her shoulders and kept her makeup to a minimum for a fresh and summery look.

Daughter Coco, however, looked like she may have raided mum's makeup bag.

The hip youngster wore a grey tank, shorts and yellow beanie and carried a stylish patent black Louis Vuitton handbag.

Meanwhile on Thursday the Friends alum was seen happily watching Coco shop at the Marc Jacobs store with former husband David, 42.

She was seen several times gesticulating and waving her left hand, displaying a sizable gold ring on her engagement finger.

Although news of an engagement is yet to be confirmed, it has been rumoured for a while that the star is set to marry McDaid despite the pair having only been an item for eight months.

Courteney and ex-husband David would have celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this week, however, they appear to be the friendliest of exes.

As they browsed the shops, the Scream star, who turns 50 on Sunday, was dressed low-key in white jeans and a navy print peasant blouse, along with flip flops that showed off her pretty pedicure.

David, whose taste in eccentric clothes is well known, chose a relatively casual look for this special occasion consisting of light blue trousers, graphic T-shirt and green plaid flannel shirt.

The couple separated in 2010 after 11 years of marriage, but did not finalise their divorce until May 2013.

On April 28, David welcomed a baby boy with girlfriend Christina McLarty, an Entertainment Tonight correspondent he's been dating for more than two years.
