'Don't we make you feel like family?' Leah Remini's new show steers clear of Scientology but is still filled with screams, tears and 'tramp stamps'

By Chelsea White

Watch out Kardashians there is a new family in town and they do not mind showing off their crazy side.

The first trailer of Leah Remini's new reality show dropped on Thursday and fans better prepare their eardrums.

The 43-year-old and her clan are certainly not the retiring types, with the family spending most of the TLC clip screaming.

Extra loud and proud, the actress along with her husband of 10 years, Angelo Pagán, and her 9-year-old daughter, Sofia, are opening up their world to the public in Leah Remini: It's All Relative.

While filmed since The King Of Queens had her very public split from the Church Of Scientology, the trailer does not make mention of the controversial religion however, as Leah has become one of its most vocal opponents the church will no doubt be watching closely.

What the TLC reality show - which premieres July 10 - does do is look closely at Leah's very entertaining family.

And, according to the actress, she also wants fans to feel part of her world saying: 'Don't we make you feel like family?'

While she and her husband and daughter are the stars of the programme, it is very clear that the scene stealer is her mother Vicki.

The 65-year-old grandmother is quickly dubbed the crazy one as Leah battles to stop her from getting a tattoo.

Interesting choice: Perhaps trying to really show that the family has severed all ties with Scientology, Vicki chooses to have an image of Buddha inked onto her lower back

In the clip Leah screams: 'Stopping your 65-year-old mother is micro managing?'

Leah is happy for her mother to shine though, and in a statement about the show said that her mom already thinks she is a star.

'I'm so happy to be opening my home to TLC and to be sharing my family with you.

'We are blessed to be given this opportunity to work together as a family.

'However, beware - In these last 13 weeks of working on the show, my mother and stepfather already feel they are the true talent and breakouts of the show and expect to be offered sitcoms.'

Love this woman. Very funny and love seeing her in interviews. Very brave to have left that scary cult. Wish her all the best.

Always loved Leah Remini & her Brooklyn or Bronx self, despite her previous association w/Scientology. I'm happy she finally came to her senses about that cult and I will be watching her show.

She did a reality show years ago when she was pregnant with her daughter. It wasn't horrible if memory serves me correctly.

After seeing her interviewed on Ellen, I cannot stand her!! She is loud and irritating and just kept plugging her own show. She has ruined king of queens for me!

Firstly, KOQ ended years ago, so how is she only now "ruining" it for you? Secondly, if you think she "ruins" KOQ, what the hell are you doing watching it? It's totally based on her and her screen husband's marriage. If you don't like Leah, stay away from KOQ. Heads-up: she doesn't play herself on KOQ.

That was the point of her being on Ellen, to advertise her own show. I like her, she's feisty. And she realised what a nasty bunch the Scientologist people are.
